An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Finance practice in Chicago.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience advising on real estate-related financing transactions who is looking to further develop within a sophisticated deal-driven practice.
The Role
The associate will work with partners and senior attorneys on a range of real estate finance matters including mortgage and mezzanine financings construction loans and related transactional work. The practice offers consistent deal flow meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to complex financing structures tied to commercial real estate assets.
Ideal Background
35 years of real estate finance experience in a law firm setting
Experience with mortgage mezzanine and construction financings preferred
Strong drafting issue-spotting and organizational skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in
