Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining troubleshooting repairing and upgrading mechanical electrical and electronic components of automated systems including heat treating equipment automatic glass cutting equipment overhead cranes glass assembly equipment and conveyor systems in a team environment.

Maintenance Tech Shift Availability: Cardinals Maintenance Department works a 2-2-3 schedule offering two 3-day weekends each month. We currently have openings on our night shift 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Week 1 of Pay Period: Work Mon Tues Fri Sat 6p - 6a
Week 2 of Pay Period: Work Sun Wed Thurs 6p - 6a

Maintenance Tech Requirements:

1-2 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of automation control systems including PLCs and computer control interface systems.
Proficient in at least (2) two maintenance skill classifications.
Proficient in MS Windows and DOS.
Must have good communication skills both oral and written.
Must be able to interpret and utilize complex technical manuals electrical and electronic schematics tables and charts.
Applicant must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb and stand or be mobile for periods in excess of 12 hours.
Must be available to work weekends.
Ability to work with and as part of a team including but not limited to the Plant Manager managers employees throughout Cardinal and vendor partnerships.
