Job Summary
What youll do
Your key accountabilities are:
- You willparticipate in the end-to-end migration of legacy databases to the new platform ensuring data integrity security and performance.
- You will develop scripts and tools to automate migration tasks reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- You will be responsible for monitoringmonitoring troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing software to ensure stability performance and reliability.
- You willwork closely with Business Analysts Product Owners and other teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- You will engage with customers when necessary to clarify requirements gather feedback and ensure solutions align with user needs.
- You will design implement and test new features and sub-modules in alignment with product requirements and architectural standards.

- Completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- 57 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in developing data-driven applications using Java Trino SQL and strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience building production-ready Java applications; ideally familiar with Spring Boot Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture including ACID transactions schema management structured data layers and data analytics.
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality and static analysis.
- Familiarity with development toolchains (Maven Jenkins) and testing frameworks (JUnit Mockito).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality and ability to think outside the box.
- Collaborative mindset with a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
