Associate Buyer

Position Summary: The Associate Buyer secures raw materials components and services at the right cost quality and timing to keepFlexfabproduction running smoothly. The role builds vendor relationshipsmaintainsaccuratepurchasing data and lives our HEARTS values every day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Place & track purchase orders that meet material specifications & required dates

• Compare quotes and recommend cost-effective options that meet all standards

• Maintainaccuratelead times pricing and delivery status in the ERP system

• Monitor open orders follow up on late deliveries and communicate changes to stakeholders

• Resolve order discrepancies quickly with Quality Production and Accounting

• Prepare basic spend-analysis reports showing savings & supplier performance

• Support vendor onboarding and performance reviews withtimelyaccuratedata

• Participate in cross-functional meetings offering respectful input that drives shared success

• Communicate transparently own mistakes and seek feedback for continuous learning

• Contribute ideas that improve cost efficiency or service

Success Measures

• On-time delivery:purchaseditems arrive when needed meeting department targets

• Cost performance:meets or improves cost-saving and cost-avoidance department goals

• Data accuracy:keeps ERPpurchasingdata within the accuracy threshold

• Issue resolution:closespurchasingdiscrepancies within needed turnaround time

• Continuous improvement:regularly contributes verified process improvements and completes the personal development plan

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in supply chain Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

• Internship or six months to one year in purchasing supply chain or manufacturing support preferred

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office especially Excel

• Basic navigation of ERP or MRP systems

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Strong organization attention to detail and follow-through

• Willingness to learn adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
