As the Clinical Manager youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn.

St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn (locally known as Mary Mackillop Aged Care) is a 91 bed facility located in Hawthorn East just 7km from Melbournes city centre with the added convenience of Camberwell Junction right around the corner. Because at St Vincents kindness works for us.

The Opportunity:

This is a great full-timepermanentopportunity for aClinical Managerto work closely with another onsite Clinical Manager to collaborate lead the clinical and care team to ensure optimal care and services helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Hawthorn.

You will be a clinically focused experienced aged care professional who can engage with your team to coach and mentor drive continuous improvement whilst working closely with our experienced Facility Manager to deliver excellence in clinical and person-centred care.

  • Experience as a Clinical Manager in an aged care facility;

  • Sound computer skills and the ability to work across different systems and processes;

  • Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to develop sustainable practice

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination

  • National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)

  • Successful completion and maintenance of Key Personnel Checks. This position is considered a Key Personnel role being responsible for day-to-day operations and having authority decision-making influence & responsibility for planning and directing activities within our organisation.
