Job Summary

An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking an associate to join its Debt Finance practice in Chicago.

This role is well-suited for an associate with experience representing lenders borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions who is looking to build depth within a sophisticated deal-driven finance practice.

The Role

The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of debt finance matters including secured lending transactions and related financings. The practice offers meaningful responsibility hands-on involvement in transactions from start to finish and exposure to complex financing structures.

Ideal Background

15 years of experience in debt finance transactions
Experience representing lenders borrowers and/or private equity sponsors
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience assisting with transaction closings
Strong drafting organizational and analytical skills
Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in
