About the Role
Safebooks Global is seeking an experiencedUS Bookkeeperto join our accounting outsourcing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in US bookkeeping operations a solid understanding ofUS GAAP and exposure to complex transactions and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end US bookkeeping includingA/R A/P journal entries
- Handlebank and credit card reconciliations
- Processpayrolland ensure payroll compliance
- Managebalance sheet postings includingEquity SWAPS and SAFE agreements
- Ensure compliance withUS GAAPand internal controls
- Generate and reconcile reports fromStripe and Square
- Assist in preparation ofmonthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Supportmonth-end and year-end closingactivities
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
CA / CA Inter / Masters degree with relevant experience
Experience:
- 3 yearsin US bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong knowledge ofGAAP-based accounting
- Experience ininventory management and gross margin tracking
- Hands-on exposure tocomplex balance sheet transactions
- Familiarity withStripe Square and payroll platforms
Skills Required
- AdvancedExceland accounting software knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
