Role Overview
The intern will support field-level school visits under the Teacher Empowerment Programme (TEP) by conducting structured school observations collecting qualitative feedback from teachers and school leaders and supporting data capture aligned with RFP-mandated monitoring requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Visit assigned schools as per the district-wise monitoring plan (approx. 20 schools per district)
Collect qualitative feedback from teachers and Heads of Institutions using structured tools
Support classroom observation and program journey documentation
Capture data accurately using digital / offline forms
Ensure completeness clarity and timely submission of field data
Coordinate with district officials or nodal points when required
Adhere to data privacy and ethical research standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
Fluency in Nepali (mandatory); working knowledge of English/Hindi preferred
Comfortable with field travel and school-based engagement
Ability to conduct basic qualitative interviews with teachers
Familiarity with smartphones Google Forms / survey tools
Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
Education / social sciences background preferred (not mandatory)
Stipend & Logistics
Monthly stipend:(based on profile and experience)
Food and travel expenses: Reimbursed as per actuals and internal norms
