Sr. Staff Software Engineer, 3P Measurement

The Third Party Measurement team based in Seattle enables 3rd party vendors to validate the value that Pinterest brings for the benefit of some of the largest advertising partners in the world.

What youll do:

• Architect build and optimize infrastructure enabling measurement data to be leveraged by third party partners in a privacy safe secure way.
• Develop new approaches to sharing data while maintaining Pinner privacy by developing new techniques and collaborating with industry partners to roll them out.
• Lead the architectural design and development of our data sharing platform supporting critical ad measurement and analytics use cases via secure data clean room integrations.
• Collaborate with product ads and measurement partners to define and build privacy-preserving event pipelines tailored to the unique customer requirements.
• Build systems that process petabytes of data every day using cutting edge technologies.
• Mentor and guide engineers sharing advanced knowledge of ads measurement and evolving privacy standards.

What were looking for:

• BS (or higher) degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant industry experience in leading the design of large scale & production systems.
• Advanced knowledge with at least one state-of-art programming language (Java Python).
• Deep knowledge with building distributed systems or measurement solutions.
• Strong product intuition for 3rd Party Measurement solutions.
• Knowledge privacy safe data sharing solution such as of Data Clean Rooms.
• Individuals looking to work in a close collaborative group to drive success of key business metrics.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1 time per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Seattle office.
