Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- Nursing DiplomaAssociate Degreein Nursing is required. BSN is preferred. (CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency. required.
- Current RN licensureor compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire is required.
- One (1) yearof experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required.
- BCLS is required upon hire with an expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
- ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- 2 years Cath/EP/IR experience strongly preferred and/or 2 years ICU/ED strongly preferred if without experience.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- CVRN CCRN CEN certifications preferred
Education
Associates Degree Nursing required OR
Bachelors Degree Nursing preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

Our four-story specialty center for women and infants features 12 labor and delivery beds 2 C-section suites along with 6 antepartum and 24 postpartum beds. Texas Health Denton is the citys only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services and is the largest provider of obstetrical services in Denton County. The ground floor houses a breast imaging center outpatient physical therapy cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.
