Job Summary

EduTalent Group is hiring a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a primary school in Bexhill starting ASAP. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced TA who enjoys working with children with additional needs and is committed to providing high-quality support in a positive and inclusive school environment. You will work closely with teachers to support learning help manage behaviour and provide tailored assistance to help all students achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEND

  • Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with ASD ADHD Dyslexia or SEMH needs

  • Ability to provide 1:1 and small group support to promote independence and engagement

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Flexible adaptable and able to work collaboratively with teachers and school leadership

  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Available to start ASAP

  • Required Skills:

    Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential) A patient empathetic and resilient approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
