Responsibilities of the Assistant SENCO include:
Supporting the SENCO in coordinating SEND provision across the school
Assisting with EHCP reviews documentation and SEND administration
Working with teachers to ensure appropriate classroom strategies and interventions are in place
Monitoring and tracking the progress of students with SEND
Liaising with parents external agencies and support services
Supporting the delivery of intervention programmes and targeted support
