Who we are
Our central role includes managing the provincial power grid in real-time overseeing and evolving Ontarios electricity market engaging with government municipalities and Indigenous communities and planning for Ontarios future electricity needs. Our employees play a key role in driving grid innovation protecting the system from threats advancing the provinces energy conservation programs and forecasting and procuring the electricity resources well need in the decades to come.
This is a unionized position that falls within the Demand Side Management Division.

The Specialist EE Portfolio Analytics is a key member of the Intelligence and Analytics team within the IESOs Energy Efficiency (EE) Division and part of the DemandSide Management (DSM) group supporting Ontarios longterm electricity demandside strategy. Reporting to the Manager Intelligence & Analytics (I&A) the incumbent will lead the development continuous improvement and implementation of financial and performance controls and analytics within the DSM group to ensure that EE initiatives uphold the IESOs fiduciary responsibilities to ratepayers while supporting partner and customer needs. The incumbent is also responsible for managing and analyzing data to assess program performance and value as well as developing and managing the endtoend portfolio reporting process working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely accurate and complete reporting deliverables.
What youll do
In this role youll make a meaningful impact by contributing to the IESO team and supporting the electricity needs of the province through:
Leadership
Influence and champion a culture of energy efficiency and conservation both internally and externally.
Demonstrate the values of the IESO and model the culture of the EE division.
Lead and manage DSM portfolio performance forecasting and all quarterly and annual reporting cycles including maintaining reporting calendars workback schedules and coordinating crossfunctional inputs to ensure timely accurate deliverables.
Facilitate effective collaboration across DSM and IESO teams by aligning reporting narratives and ensuring consistency across internal and external deliverables.
Provide guidance and coaching to program teams on reporting practices dashboard usage data interpretation and performance insights.
Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes templates and visual standards to enhance clarity consistency and executivelevel communication.
Monitoring and Assessment
Monitor key DSM program performance KPIs - participation budget savings and costeffectiveness.
Analyze data prepare program and portfolio performance reports and present results to decisionmakers as required.
Identify performance issues and recommend proactive solutions to management.
Develop and implement controls to mitigate performance risks.
Communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
Financial
Knowledge of financial concepts including budgeting forecasting accruals cost allocations and financial controls.
Ability to interpret analyze and validate financial data to support program performance and reporting.
Integration
Develop recommendations and approaches for integrating and analyzing program data to support effective reporting and continuous improvement.
Support data management activities and provide guidance on data and information system needs.
