Live Oak Contracting LLC is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of our multifamily construction projects. This is a developmental role designed for construction professionals who are looking to grow into a Project Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preconstruction activities including estimates schedules of values and contract documentation
- Review plans specifications and drawings
- Track RFIs submittals and change orders
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Support procurement and project buyout
- Assist with project schedules budgets and cost tracking
- Support project closeout punch lists and final documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 13 years of multifamily construction experience
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience
- New graduates from Construction Management programs welcomed
- Valid drivers license
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction processes and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Team-oriented with growth mindset
Work Environment
- Corporate office with regular site visits
- Exposure to active construction sites and varying conditions
