About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer I with 79 years of experience to lead cloud-based data engineering initiatives. This role includes project execution presales involvement stakeholder management and guiding small teams within larger data platform engagements.

What Youll Do & The Impact Youll Have

Participate in RFI/RFP processes contribute to proposals and help define SOWs.
Apply industry expertise (Telco Banking FSI) to deliver business-relevant solutions.
Lead small teams or workstreams (35 members) within larger data platform projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to handle escalations risk assessments and resolve project issues.
Maintain a Cloud Data Engineer or Architect Associate-level certification.
Lead Data Engineering projects in cloud environments.

Requirements

What Youll Bring to the Table

Must-Have Skills:

79 years of experience in data engineering with cloud platforms.
Proven ability to lead workstreams or small teams in cloud-based data projects.
Experience in presales activities (RFI/RFP responses proposal writing SOW creation).
Strong stakeholder alignment and communication skills to manage risks and escalations.
Industry exposure in at least one vertical such as Telco Banking or FSI.
Certified Cloud Data Engineer / Architect Associate (AWS GCP or Azure).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
Familiarity with AWS Glue Kafka EMR PySpark and DBT.
Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (lakehouse streaming batch).
Ability to contribute to cloud modernization and migration projects.
