Job Summary

Reports To:Executive Director of Athletics

Duty Days:238Days

Wage/Hour Status:Non-Exempt

Pay Grade:AS04

Qualifications:

Experience working in a public assembly facility such as convention center arena stadium or auditorium (Preferred)

4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Proven strong customer service experience required.

Strong Organizational skills

Experience in public assembly facility management preferred

Strong skills in the use of technology packages related to Event Management preferred

Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible daily for the Katy ISD Stadium facility campus pertaining to the coordination and oversight of events scheduled at the facilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan set up and supervise facility events held at the Stadium complex meeting rooms.
  2. Assist with the management of all district facility events as needed at Legacy Stadium.
  3. Meet with prospective clients to define needs and develop service approach.
  4. Support District goals in daily activities.
  5. Learn and assist as needed the group sales ticketing process.
  6. Maintain data and reports on facility usage.
  7. Occasional overtime and schedule adjustments as needed.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used:

Personal computer printer audio/video equipment copier fax machine projector digital camera handled ticket scanners

Working Conditions:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Occasional district wide travel between Merrell Center and Stadium complex; Frequent prolonged and irregular hours including nights weekends and holidays. May be required to assist other departments as needed; Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
