Tekberry is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Design & Training Content Specialist to support learning and development initiatives within a dynamic campus environment. This role is focused on designing and delivering engaging high-impact training content that supports safety technical operations and workforce development.

This is a hands-on content-driven role responsible for creating short-form training videos interactive eLearning modules and technical training programs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in translating complex technical and safety procedures into clear engaging and effective learning materials.

This position operates independently while collaborating with subject matter experts campus leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative training solutions that enhance compliance engagement and operational performance.

Note: This is not an HR role - it is focused on instructional design digital content creation and training delivery.

Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Content Development

Design and develop short-form training videos interactive eLearning modules and digital learning content
Translate complex technical procedures and safety requirements into clear user-friendly training materials
Create simulations assessments and engaging learning assets to improve knowledge retention and compliance
Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles

Video Production & Digital Learning

Produce and edit high-quality training videos using industry-standard video editing tools
Develop microlearning content to support modern on-demand learning environments
Ensure training materials are engaging accessible and aligned with learning objectives

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with subject matter experts campus leaders and operational teams to gather content and requirements
Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups to align training with business needs
Communicate project updates and training outcomes effectively

Learning Systems & Program Execution

Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content authoring tools to deploy and manage training
Track and manage multiple training projects simultaneously
Ensure timely delivery of training initiatives and continuous improvement of content

Fieldwork & Training Support

Travel across campus to capture video content and support training sessions
Assist with implementation of training programs in operational environments
Support continuous improvement of training programs based on feedback and performance metrics

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelors degree and minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design technical training or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience creating short-form training videos and digital learning content
Strong proficiency with video editing software
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content authoring tools
Ability to translate complex technical or safety procedures into effective training materials
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in health safety facilities security or technical training environments
Knowledge of microlearning strategies and modern learning methodologies
Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital learning content
Experience working in academic or large campus environments

Work Environment

Primarily onsite role based in Stanford CA
Regular travel across campus for filming and training support
Combination of office-based work and light fieldwork
Standard Monday Friday schedule

Additional Requirements

Valid drivers license required (driving within campus required)
Background check including education verification and motor vehicle record (MVR)
