The Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Director to oversee the financial operations of our international private equity fund. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund management private equity and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills a deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to drive financial performance across our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the funds financial operations including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate potential investment opportunities and conduct financial due diligence
Monitor and analyze the financial performance of portfolio companies identifying areas for improvement and implementing value creation initiatives
Develop and maintain robust financial models and valuation methodologies for the fund and its investments
Lead a team of finance professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
Manage relationships with external auditors tax advisors and other financial service providers

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field supplemented with relevant qualifications (e.g. RA RC CMA or MBA) is an advantage.
Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing finance teams
In-depth knowledge of private equity fund structures operations and best practices
Strong understanding of financial markets investment strategies and valuation methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g. Excel PowerBI)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with investors portfolio company executives and team members
Experience with fund accounting software and ERP systems
Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS GAAP)
