The Position

In this dynamic role of P&C Business Partner & Country Connector - Australia you will act as a business leader and entrepreneur partnering flexibly across multiple leadership areas within a networked environment. You are a trusted strategic partner and coach dedicated to fostering VACC leadership and advancing organizational effectiveness. Beyond internal strategy you serve as the Country Connector dedicating approximately 10% of your time to external system shaping reputation management and cultural stewardship within the Australian landscape.

As the P&C BP & Country Connector you will:

Business Acumen

• Align P&C strategy and objectives to overall business goals to drive key results.

• Provide guidance on talent management workforce strategies and organization design in partnership with Enterprise Business Partners and other Chapters (functions).

• Maintain a broad knowledge of organization operations and the external environment to effectively diagnose and implement strategies.

• Use P&C insights and metrics to diagnose complex topics and recommend work process improvements that leverage human capital.

• Ensure all P&C initiatives provide a return on investment that adds value to the organization.

Leadership

• Act as a strategic sparring partner and coach to foster a leadership culture in line with the Roche leadership frame.

• Translate the business vision into actionable projects and initiatives with clear milestones.

• Lead or participate in Work Product Teams (WPTs) and squads developing clear action plans to meet objectives.

• Drive alignment and buy-in across multiple leadership areas while influencing leaders toward required outcomes.

• Diagnose P&C needs related to retention engagement and leadership development using appropriate assessment tools.

Strategic P&C Insights & Innovation

• Analyze internal and external data and evidence-based research to make critical business decisions.

• Share insights with leaders and recommend innovative solutions that support the culture and strategic direction.

• Diagnose the root causes of work environment issues and disruptive team dynamics.

• Initiate interventions and shape solutions through co-creation with key stakeholders across the business.

This Sydney-based role is open to candidates who have full eligibility to live and work in Australia. Familiarity with the Australian labor law and the market is key.
