Duties & Responsibilities:
Is responsible for the adjustments/setup of the manufacturing equipment and their corresponding documentation.
Provides support to manufacturing for the timely repair of equipment and machinery.
Performs corrective and emergency nonplanned maintenance activities according to the approved methods and documentation.
Participates in the transfer of new production lines.
Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures
Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished product
Utilize small hand tools calibrated instruments measurement equipment microscopes and test fixtures
Participate in line meetings as needed
Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements
Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to lab environment practice and procedures
Fully understands and maintains accurate records/documentation related to quality work in progress test results labor (e.g. timecards) and special projects
Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities
Adhere to general safety rules manufacturing procedures company policies and procedures QSR and FDA regulations
Additional Duties:
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Experience and Education:
Technical career or equivalent applicable to: Mechanics Electric Electro-mechanics Electronics Metrology instrumentalist.
3 to 5 years of experience and/or related training preferably. Knowledge and skills to satisfactorily develop the responsibilities of the position.
Required Knowledge Skills Abilities Certifications:
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation preferably in the medical industry.
Wide knowledge of computer package
Knowledge of the Campus Systems preferably.
Knowledge of Maximo System (Computerized System for the Management of Maintenance) preferably.
Knowledge of the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices )/ISO preferably.
Knowledge of emergency and corrective nonplanned maintenance calibrations procedures documentation and quality systems preferably.
Willing to work2nd shift (2:30pm -11pm)
Additional Information:
The expected base pay range for this position is $55000 - $88550/annually.
The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
This position is overtime eligible.

o Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
o Condolence Leave 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member
o Caregiver Leave 10 days
o Volunteer Leave 4 days
o Military Spouse Time-Off 80 hours
