Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate - Accounts Payable - Payments
Responsibilities:
Invoice Filing and Documentation: Assist in organizing and filing invoices related to accounts payable ensuring easy access and retrieval of documentation for processing and audits.
Basic Data Entry: Support the data entry process for invoices and payments into the accounting system ensuring accuracy and timely updates of financial records.
Payment Processing Support: Help in the preparation of payment batches including checks and electronic payments under the supervision of senior staff.
Assisting in Vendor Communication: Respond to basic inquiries from vendors regarding payment status and assist in resolving any minor discrepancies in a timely manner.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all payments made ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborative Team Support: Work closely with team members to understand workflows and processes related to accounts payable payments contributing to team objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
Relevant years of experience in managing AP- payments
Experience in working with SAP and AP / Payroll tools would be added advantage
Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage

Preferred Skill Set:
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
Computer literacy MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to work under own initiative
Strong time management skills
Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information
