Job Summary
As a Sr. Electrical Power Engineer II youll serve as the senior technical authority for designing evaluating and sustaining electrical power systems supporting mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. Our team is responsible for delivering highly available resilient infrastructure for high-visibility customers and youll ensure power systems are engineered operated and maintained to the highest standards of reliability resilience and operational excellence.

What youll do:
- Lead plan design monitor analyze troubleshoot document and evolve the electrical state of telecommunications networks.
- Design and evaluate electrical power systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
- Support resilient high-availability infrastructure operations in secure environments.
- Participate in Agile execution and technical planning discussions.
- Troubleshoot power system issues and operational faults.
- Communicate technical recommendations and engineering decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain customer trust through technical excellence and disciplined execution.
- Apply creativity and engineering judgment to deliver innovative mission-aligned solutions.
What youll need to succeed:
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; relevant experience may be substituted.
- Certification meeting DoD 8140 DCWF Role of 451 System Administrator (e.g. CASP CCNP Security CCSP Cloud FITSP-O GICSP GSEC Security or SSCP).
- 8 years designing and evaluating complex electrical power systems supporting critical infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in power distribution redundancy grounding and load analysis.
- Experience supporting telecommunications or data center environments.
SALARY RANGE: $170000 - $230000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
