Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as an administrator for key HR and workforce management functions including recruiting onboarding employee/labor relations health and safety compensation benefits training diversity employee engagement and employee records
Processes payroll using UKG (UltiPro) ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with wage and hour regulations
Tracks and maintains employee attendance PTO FMLA and other leave programs
Facilitates and communicates HR policies procedures and organizational programs
Ensures compliance with federal state and local labor laws and regulatory requirements
Provides internal HR support to managers supervisors and employees
Coordinates to process employment changes and maintain HRIS and personnel records
Assists in coordinating vendors providing supplemental HR services
Supports audits reporting and special HR projects
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field required
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred - 35 years of related HR and payroll experience
Experience with UKG preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Foundational knowledge of human resources principles and employment laws
Understanding of payroll processes and wage and hour compliance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
