Insurance Producer
Job Summary
Seeking motivated and experienced Insurance Producers to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a proven track record in the insurance industry who are looking to advance their careers in a flexible and supportive environment. Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $36000 - $65000 annually (commensurate with experience and performance)
- Benefits:
- Group health insurance
- 401(k) with a 3.5% company match (eligible after 90 days)
- Benefits package available after 90 days of employment
- Commission Structure: Competitive with opportunities for additional earnings based on performance
- Work Environment: Flexible options including remote work for experienced producers (after an initial 30-45 day in-office training period)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a book of business focusing on small to mid-sized accounts
- Build and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities acting as a hunter in the market
- Quote and bind new and renewal business leveraging company resources and tools
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve individual and team goals
- Stay informed about industry trends products and regulations to provide the best solutions to clients
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (valid in East Coast states excluding NY NJ and WV)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an independent insurance agency with a preference for candidates experienced in both Personal Lines (PL) and Commercial Lines (CL)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance software such as Vertafore QQ and Momentum (NowCerts)
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Other Requirements: Successful completion of a background check
