Job Summary
At CD PROJEKT RED weve built our legacy on rich worlds and unforgettable storytelling from the epic fantasy of The Witcher to the dystopian future of Cyberpunk 2077. Now were embarking on a new journey: Project Hadar a completely new IP built from the ground up.
Project Hadar is still in its early stages offering a unique opportunity to help define the vision and identity of an entirely new universe. Were looking for a Senior Environment Artist to join our Environment Art team in Warsaw where your creativity experience and artistic sensibility will directly shape breathtaking worlds that millions of players will explore.
Responsibilities
- Creating ideas and plans for locations/levels for our new game.
- Creating textures and original photorealistic textures through the use of various tools and middleware.
- Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
- Creating immersive lighting and environmental effects.
- Cooperating effectively with Level Designers Concept Artists and everyone involved in creating locations.
- Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.
- Putting finishing touches on locations and cutscenes with the use of existing meshes and decals.
- Giving feedback to peers.
- Being a knowledge base for other artists.
Qualifications :
- At least 6 years of experience working in the video game industry and at least one shipped AAA title.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop as well as one of the leading modelling packages (3DS Max Maya Blender etc.).
- Great sense of scale and proportions.
- Good knowledge of composition colour theory and lighting.
- Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
- Experience with procedural content creation packages (Substance Houdini World Machine).
- Basic knowledge about Level Design.
- Creativity and an excellent eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English.
- Passion for games.
Additional Information :
Working mode
In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw Poland. Relocation is required.
