The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified individual to perform professional administrative technical and logistical support. This position is responsible for auditing equipment and assets including inventory and supply management. Assists the asset manager in the annual certified inventory for Capital Fixed Assets and conducts inventories. Additionally manages varying special projects for the Healthcare Services Division (HSD).

Job Duties:

- Maintains records of asset location changes either internal within the HSD or between ADCRR Divisions
- Assists in writing and implementing administrative and financial control procedures to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the equipment and supply inventory process
- Assists in coordinating the disposal of State of Arizona property
- Educates staff contract vendor and other stakeholders on the equipment inventory process
- Submits purchased/obtained asset identification/information fixed assets and/or HSD developed database
- Assists with inventory and tagging assets of contract vendors as ADCRR property
- Completes and submits required forms to fixed assets Business Services and procurement
- Performs research
- Attends meetings and training as required
- Develops action plans and offers improvement strategies or solutions to HSD leadership
- Completes requisitions for equipment and supplies
- Assists in assigning equipment to new hires and current staff
- Updates fixed assets accordingly
- Initiates tracks and updates employee property receipts
- Conducts audits on employee property assigned by ADCRR
- Oversees and participates in the competition of special projects to help support organizational objectives and business needs
- Communicates and collaborates with HSD staff and leaders on projects
- Creates spreadsheets and reports
- Enters information and data into spreadsheets and databases
- Maintains operational statistics and data
- Directs data concerns to appropriate personnel or organizations
- Analyzes reports and presents data to staff and leaders
- Drives on state business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Selective Preference(s):

- Five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in inventory and supply management in a correctional environment
- Five (5) years of property management experience in a correctional health setting

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11).

In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
