Job Summary

This role requires a hands-on QA professional with a solid grounding in Salesforce testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently ensure high-quality releases and collaborate closely with business analysts developers and product owners to validate complex Salesforce implementations.

Roles & responsibilities

Understand user stories to create detailed test plans test strategy and test scenarios
Design test processes to ensure meeting business requirements through end-to-end testing
Test new features and provide feedback from the user perspective to developers
Maintain automated test scripts wherever possible to reduce repetitive manual testing
Be the single point of contact for test-related queries and track all tickets related to testing to meet timelines and SLAs
Work closely with developers to assign priorities and resolve defects issues and escalations related to testing
Conduct exploratory testing as per test plans and ad-hoc wherever required
Review functional goals of tickets to ensure functional accuracy and compliance
Participate in weekly reviews and provide inputs for increasing accuracy
Identify and recommend best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Mandatory Skills

Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture including Sales modules.
Proven experience in validating Salesforce configurations custom objects fields workflows validation rules process builders and Lightning components.
Solid foundation in software testing principles test planning and defect management processes.
Hands-on experience in functional regression integration and UAT testing.
Ability to design and execute detailed test cases test scripts and test data scenarios.
Practical experience with test management tools such as Jira
Working knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium WebDrive
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to building or maintaining automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium
Understanding of continuous testing using tools such as Jenkins Flosum or similar CI/CD platforms.
QA certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level or Certified Tester Agile Extension.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to improving QA processes.
