Role: Lead Fundraising Acquisitions & Partnerships Remote
Experience: 3-5 years
Salary band: Upto 8-10 LPA
Location: Candidates must be from Mumbai.
About the role:
This is a founding fundraising role for a proactive professional who thrives in startup mode. You will be responsible for building fundraising systems from scratch shaping processes where none exist and translating the purpose of non-profits into clear value for corporate funders. You will focus on the 30L 1Cr CSR segment helping build trust in an unorganized landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquisitions & Networking: Proactively reach out to corporates and foundations to pitch partnership opportunities. Leverage existing networks (15-20 CSR leads) for faster market entry.
- Partnership Management: Manage the complete lifecycle from initial outreach and negotiation to onboarding and long-term engagement.
- Proposal & Strategy: Craft data-driven compelling grant proposals and impact-led narratives that inspire donor commitment.
- Ecosystem Building: Represent the organization with NGOs and ecosystem partners to strengthen visibility and collaboration.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets cash flows and financial reporting for partnership accounts.
- Solutioning: Work closely with vendors and NGOs to design effective interventions particularly in healthcare and education.
What Youll Bring:
- Experience: 34 years of hands-on experience in fundraising donor engagement or CSR partnerships.
- Skills: Strong negotiation grant writing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Network: A working network of decision-makers within small to mid-sized CSR portfolios.
- Mindset: An entrepreneurial founder-like spirit; comfortable with ambiguity and building from the ground up.
- Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline (Masters in Sales/MBA or Development Studies is a plus).
