About the role

We are looking for an Officer Environmental Monitoring to join our HSEC team at Greater Nammuldi on a FIFO this role youll work closely with the site environmental advisors and site operational teams to safely carry out environmental monitoring activities in accordance with asset and regulatory approval will be part of a supportive collaborative team; however a significant portion of this role is independent fieldwork and selfmanaged scheduling requiring strong organisational skills proactive planning and confidence working alone in remote settings.

Reporting to the Manager Health Safety Environment Community (HSEC) the role will require you to:

  • Manage and execute a comprehensive environmental monitoring schedule to achievecompliance with environmental licences and approvals

  • Maintain highquality environmental datasets ensuring information is accurate complete stored correctly and ready for reporting

  • Maintain and calibrate environment fieldwork equipment and assets

  • Complete monthly monitoring metrics and highlight nonconformances or emerging issues

  • QA/QC and compliance reviews of data and communication toEnvironment Advisors

  • Manage and support environmental survey work conducted by contractors onsite (e.g. Bat Aquatic fauna and riparian vegetation monitoring). This includes scoping mobilisation field work supervision and close out.

  • Raise monitoring exceedances and support environment incident investigations

  • Build strong positive relationships with operational and functional teams

What youll bring

  • Formal qualification or competency in Environmental or Marine Sciences (or a related transferable discipline)

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume monitoring schedule work independently and maintain attention to detail

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental sampling and monitoring programs

  • Strong data management skills including handling large datasets and ensuring data quality

  • A proactive diligent approach to fieldwork safety and task execution

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues confidently and safely

  • Experience working remotely or in fieldbased roles
