Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 3037 Lakeland Hills Blvd Suite 5 Lakeland FL 33805
Schedule: Monday through Friday 32 hours per week. Additional hours available if willing to provide coverage at nearby centers.
Compensation: $28$32 per hour based on experience
Incentives: $12000 signon bonus plus $200 per month in student loan repayment
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a fulltime Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team at our Lakeland Hills location. This center features a collaborative group of four clinicians treating a diverse orthopedic caseload with specialties that include neurology sports medicine dry needling and fall prevention. We welcome both new graduates and experienced PTAs who are eager to grow in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
