JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides safe quality radiation therapy through the utilization of appropriate treatment procedures. Participates in patient care education and maintenance of patient treatment records in ARIA. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Samaritan Cancer Program offers state-of-the-art high-energy Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators which are computer controlled to deliver an extremely precise radiation treatment based on each patient s customized treatment plan. Treatments include: 2D 3D IMRT SBRT and SRS. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Able to obtain an unencumbered Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in Radiation Therapy. Current ARRT R.T.(T) credential required. One (1) year experience as a staff therapist preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS required.
