The Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor I with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Primary Objectives:
- Provides shipping and receiving to support projects maintains inventory control operates warehouse equipment and participates in warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
- Receives stores issues material and supplies to project sites
- Operates mechanical equipment used in warehouse operations
- Performs routine inspection and maintenance on all warehouse equipment for maximum safe availability and performance
- Loads unloads and moves materials within or near plant yard or work site
- Counts weighs and records numbers of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and convers load to destinations
- May occasionally operate fork lift truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
- Responsible for material management function at site as per the Construction Management Plan and certification of invoices
of the Vendors for supply items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study the Construction Management Plan and understand the plan and processes to be followed for material management
during the construction phase. - Collaborate with the discipline engineers and estimate the area requirement for covered storage and open yard. Coordinate
with Customer for area allotment/review of adequacy of the area allotted. - Supervise & manage the material handling contractor in delivering the scope of material management.
- Coordinate with home office expediting team and keep updated information on expediting status reports and
delivery/dispatch instructions. - Receive delivery of all incoming free issue materials reconcile with purchase orders verify the materials against the Inspection Release Notes (IRNs) and unloading of materials through material handling contractor. Generate Daily Material Receipt Report (DMR)
- Physical verification of the materials generating and following up for the Over Shortage & Damaged Report if applicable
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). Create GRN in ERM to record receipt of materials.
- Arrange for storage of the materials at designated place enter the Bin card and conduct periodic verification
- Generate a report for materials received on weekly basis and circulate to Customer and Home Office team
- Collaborate with discipline engineers and prepare Preservation & Maintenance Schedule Record Preservation & Periodic
Maintenance activities - Issue materials to the Contractors based on the Material Issue Vouchers (MIVs) / Store requisitions enter the same in the
bin card and update the stock - Conduct periodic verification of materials and report any missing materials on immediate basis.
- Verify the measurement sheets submitted by the Material Handling contractor for raising invoice.
- Receive Vendor Invoices record receipt and certify the invoices based on the terms and conditions of the Purchase Order.
- Arrange for submission of the certified invoices to Customer.
- Generate a report for the status of certification of the invoices every week and circulate to the Customer and Home Office
team. - Inform the Vendors promptly for any shortcomings on the invoices and follow up for closure of the open points
- Liaise with Assist in reconciliation of materials with the Contractors Construction Management team and handover the surplus
materials to Customer at the designated location.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 5 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
- NCCER Certified Plus (Preferred)
- Knowledge of warehouse function product and process flow and handling equipment
- Knowledge of material management activities related to construction projects in Oil & Gas or Chemicals
Sector. - Minimum 7 years of experience for Graduates/10 years of experience for Diploma holders
- Graduate/Diploma in any stream
- Knowledge of safe ways of working related to material handling
- Proficient in MS Office
- Team Player interpersonal skills
- Adaptable open towards learning and development and person of integrity
- Knowledge of warehouse function product and process flow and handling equipment
