The Role

As an Electrical Designer Level I with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical system designs for projects ensuring compliance with international standards and delivering safe reliable and energy-efficient solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise proficiency in design software and the ability to lead design coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Design Development:
    • Proficiency in ACAD.
    • Prepare single-line diagrams and schemes.
    • Design of power distribution systems lighting layouts with calculation & circuiting earthing/ lightning layouts Power and cable routing layouts with MTO.
    • Ensure compliance with IEC IS codes NFPA and local regulations.
    • Knowledge of MicroStation S3D E3D will be added advantage.
    • Experience resolving site issues during energization.
  • Coordination & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with other disciplines for integrated design solutions.
  • Energy Efficiency & Safety:
    • Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design principles.
    • Ensure designs meet safety standards and reliability requirements.
    • Support value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Required experience 4 - 10 Years.
  • Diploma in electrical engineering or ITI draftsman course from reputed college or university.
  • Experience in electrical design for Industrial OIL and Gas Refinery and chemical projects.
  • Good analytical communication coordination and leadership skills.
