07Key Responsibilities
Assistin the creation updating and maintenance of large-format maps (A0 scale) for the GEPS product suite.
Edit and manage spatial data ensuring accuracy consistency and adherence to cartographic standards.
Applyappropriate symbologylabelling and design principles to maps and related products.
Collaborate with regional experts tovalidategeographic content and ensure local accuracy.
Work to a publication schedule meeting deadlines for map production and updates.
Support the development of new map types and cartographic content enhancements.
Respond to ad-hoc mapping requests producingaccurateandtimelyoutputs.
Participate in team discussionsregardingworkflow improvements cartographic standards and product innovation.
Maintain organized records of spatial data sources edits and production processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Cartography Geography Geospatial Science GIS or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Demonstrated experience using GIS and cartographic software such asArcGISArcProor similar tools.
Knowledge of spatial data formats (shapefiles geodatabases raster data etc.) and data management best practices.
Basic understanding of cartographic principles symbology and spatial analysis techniques.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Excel&Word.
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a production environment.
Effective communication skills for working with team members regional experts and product managers.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data and mapping issues.
