Job Duties:

The Program Manager for the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center plays a key role in designing executing and evaluating innovative programs that advance the centers mission. This position oversees strategic program development internal operations and policy creation while ensuring equity and accessibility across all initiatives. The Program Manager builds andmaintainsstrong relationships with students faculty campus partners community organizations and external collaboratorsrepresentingthe LEC at events and cocreating impactful programming. The role includes supervising student interns guiding crossfunctional teamwork and managing program budgets and financial processes. Additionally the Program Manager supports fundraising efforts engages withdonorsand sponsors andleadsthe development of reports impact summaries and datadriven insights. This is a highly collaborative strategic and creative position that helps shape the entrepreneurial and innovative culture at UWM.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates functional plans relationships and connections that are instrumental in transforming the campus culture improving access to resources and shepherding innovations and projects toward commercialization
  • Forms and manages networks of people and other resources to support campus leaders with policy and strategy development and to support innovators and entrepreneurs who are being helped and mentored
  • Assists campus leaders and affiliated organizations in the development of strategies that further innovation and commercialization success in their specific segment
  • Provides instruction coaching inspiration and subject matter expertise to faculty staff and students on a variety of topics including technology management value proposition and business model development team formation funding and governance

Compensation:

$55000 - $70000/annually.Salarywill bedeterminedbyfinalistsexperience training education and equity-based factors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent

  • At leastone year ofrelevant work experience in academic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science or equivalent

  • Three years of relevant work experience in academic environment

  • Experience developing academic programs or curriculum

  • Experience managing operations in large organizations

  • Fundraising experience
