The Role & Technical Scope: You will provide high-level administrative support to the HR Manager acting as the first point of contact for staff queries regarding contracts pay and school policies. This is a role for someone who loves the mechanics of HRensuring every document is perfect and every deadline is met.
Recruitment & Compliance: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from drafting adverts to conducting right-to-work checks obtaining references and ensuring medical clearances are in place before a start date.
Contractual Administration: Issuing offer letters contracts and variations to terms and conditions. You will ensure that all staff have up-to-date job descriptions and that the schools establishment portal is accurate.
Data Intelligence & Reporting: Leading on the annual School Workforce Census and maintaining the HRIS (e.g. iTrent or Moorepay) to ensure data-driven reporting for the Trust Board.
First-Line HR Advice: Providing accurate advice to staff on a range of queries including maternity/paternity leave shared parental leave and the Cycle to Work scheme.
