Purpose of Role
To support the Head of Compliance on all areas relating to regulatory compliance
in the United Kingdom in line with FCA regulations.
What Youll Do
Assist with the day-to-day compliance in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the companys policies and procedures
Performing risk assessments in relation to compliance risks
Assist in the drafting of compliance related reports to the authorities (FCA)
Draft modify and implement the companys policies procedures and handbooks as needed to reflect industry best practices the evolving regulatory environment and changes to the business
Research identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices
Maintain oversight of the relevant Compliance registers
Assist in the functions strategic planning and decision making
Liaise with auditors/examiners during compliance audits/examinations as assigned
Perform desk-based reviews to the companys functions systems and procedures as per the Companys Compliance Monitoring Program
What You Need
Bachelors degree in Law Finance Economics or any other relevant field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-performance environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong drive for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset
Excellent writing skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
