Even though the role is short each day usually 12 hours your presence is vital in creating safe structured and positive lunchtimes where children feel supported included and happy.

The role of a Midday Meal Supervisor in Boston primary schools is varied and hands-on. You will:
Supervise Pupils
Oversee children in dining areas classrooms corridors and playgrounds
Monitor behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain safety and order
Support Mealtimes
Assist younger or vulnerable children during meals
Encourage good table manners and promote independence
Promote Positive Behaviour
Model respect kindness and politeness
