About the Role

The successful candidate will support the management and maintenance of the school site ensuring that facilities are safe clean and functioning effectively. You will work closely with the site team and school leadership to support daily operations and respond to maintenance needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs across the school site

• Ensuring the buildings and grounds are safe clean and secure

• Opening and closing the school site when required

• Monitoring building systems including heating lighting and security

• Supporting health and safety procedures and completing site checks

• Assisting with contractor visits and site inspections

• Preparing classrooms halls and outdoor spaces for school events and activities

• Reporting maintenance issues and site concerns promptly

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in facilities support maintenance or caretaking

• Be confident using tools and basic maintenance equipment safely

• Demonstrate reliability and strong attention to detail

• Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures
