We are seeking a passionate enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Peterborough starting as soon as possible. As an EYFS Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will create engaging learning experiences that develop childrens literacy numeracy communication social and emotional skills. You will also work closely with teaching assistants and parents to ensure children receive consistent support tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess high-quality EYFS lessons and activities
Promote early literacy numeracy communication and language skills
Support childrens social emotional and personal development
Create a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children including SEND and EAL
Observe assess and accurately record childrens progress
Foster independence confidence and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues
Build strong relationships with parents and carers providing regular feedback
Contribute to staff meetings CPD sessions and whole-school initiatives
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent EYFS qualification
Have experience teaching in Nursery or Reception settings
Be nurturing patient and enthusiastic
Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
Understand the EYFS framework and child development principles
Be reflective adaptable and proactive
Show a strong commitment to inclusion safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
