About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging lessons that encourage pupils to experiment develop artistic skills and build confidence in their creative abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop creativity and technical skill

• Introducing pupils to a range of artistic techniques materials and styles

• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

• Supporting pupils in developing their portfolios and coursework

• Contributing to the development of the Art curriculum

• Supporting exhibitions displays and creative school events

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Art and creative techniques

• Be able to inspire pupils and encourage creative expression

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisation

• Be enthusiastic about creative education and pupil development

• Work effectively within a collaborative department
