SAP Functional Consultant (Foreign Trade Zone FTZ)

Role Overview:
We are looking for an SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) processes to support design configuration and optimization of trade compliance and customs operations within SAP systems (SAP GTS/SAP ECC/S4HANA).

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and support SAP GTS (or SAP International Trade functions) with a focus on FTZ customs management and trade compliance.
Configure FTZ processes such as zone admission privileged/ non-privileged status weekly entry filings inventory tracking and customs reporting.
Work with logistics warehousing and trade compliance teams to map and optimize FTZ workflows.
Translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and support development teams where enhancements are needed.
Perform system testing issue resolution documentation and user training.
Ensure SAP configuration aligns with CBP regulations FTZ compliance requirements and internal audit standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 7 years functional experience in SAP GTS SAP Global Trade or SAP Logistics modules.
Demonstrated expertise in Foreign Trade Zone operations and U.S. Customs regulations.
Strong knowledge of import/export processes HTS classification and trade compliance workflows.
Experience with S/4HANA or integration with warehouse/logistics systems is a plus.
Strong analytical communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
