Job Title: SAP FICO Functional
Summary
Looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA specializing in financial processes controlling and profitability analysis. This is a contract role focused on stabilization of the SAP ECC environment delivering improvements to financial controls costing structures and reporting. The role requires a hands-on consultant capable of implementing changes and delivering tangible outcomes within a short timeframe.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with GL AP AR Asset Accounting and Controlling
- Hands-on experience with COPA and profitability analysis
- Experience with cost centre accounting and product costing
- Ability to simplify financial structures (profit centres reporting hierarchies)
- Experience implementing financial controls (e.g. journal approvals SoD alignment)
- Integration knowledge with SAP MM SD and PP modules
- Coordination with technical teams for enhancements interfaces and reports
- Troubleshooting issues and providing root cause analysis with timely resolution
- Preparation of Functional Specifications Test Scripts and User Training Documents
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration and business processes
- Hands-on ECC configuration experience.
- Experience in stabilisation optimisation or transformation projects
- Good understanding of financial governance and control processes
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal.
- SAP FI/CO Certification (preferred)
Work Site: Houston TX / Hybrid 3 days/week
Duration: 6 Months
