Job Summary

Job Title: SAP Fico Consultant

Location: Houston TX Hybrid 2 days on site per week

Type: 3 months

Looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA specializing in financial processes controlling and profitability analysis. This is a contract role focused on stabilization of the SAP ECC environment delivering improvements to financial controls costing structures and reporting. The role requires a hands-on consultant capable of implementing changes and delivering tangible outcomes within a short timeframe. Competencies (skills & abilities)

Strong experience with GL AP AR Asset Accounting and Controlling

Hands-on experience with COPA and profitability analysis

Experience with cost centre accounting and product costing

Ability to simplify financial structures (profit centres reporting hierarchies)

Experience implementing financial controls (e.g. journal approvals SoD alignment)

Integration knowledge with SAP MM SD and PP modules

Coordination with technical teams for enhancements interfaces and reports

Troubleshooting issues and providing root cause analysis with timely resolution

Preparation of Functional Specifications Test Scripts and User Training Documents Required Skills:

Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration and business processes

Hands-on ECC configuration experience Experience in stabilisation optimisation or transformation projects

Good understanding of financial governance and control processes Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

Exposure to S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal

SAP FI/CO Certification (preferred) Page 2 of 2 Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead discussions and requirement-gathering workshops

Analytical and problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Good documentation and presentation skills Education & Knowledge

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting IT or related field

8 years of SAP FI/CO experience

Experience in global or multi-country SAP environments
