Value Technology Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and AWS to design build and maintain scalable data platforms. The ideal candidate will have 8 10 years of experience in data engineering and a proven track record of delivering cloud-based analytics solutions. This role requires hands-on technical leadership strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS services.
- Implement ETL/ELT frameworks following modern data architecture principles such as Data Vault 2.0.
- Build and optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows using AWS S3 Glue Lambda and Python.
- Develop complex SQL queries and performance-tuned data models in Snowflake.
- Lead end-to-end data engineering solutions from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Implement and manage DevSecOps pipelines CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues ensuring high availability and performance.
- Enforce data quality security governance and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.
- Collaborate with business analysts data scientists and IT teams to deliver reliable analytics solutions in an Agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 10 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling performance tuning security).
- Solid experience with AWS services: S3 Glue Lambda (Redshift is a plus).
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience designing batch and streaming pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architectures and Data Vault 2.0.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
