Local or Travel position
Location: Santa Fe NM 87505 (Primary duty station) and Espanola NM 87532 (As needed)

Pay Rate: $65/hour $43.23 stipend for travelers
Schedule:

8-hour shift; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or 9-hour shift; 8:00 to 6:00 pm (Santa Fe NM)
8-hour shift; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (Espanola NM)

Contract Length: 1 year with the option to extend

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide safe accurate and patient-centered pharmaceutical services in a clinical setting. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient populations and requires strong clinical judgment attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or PharmD required)
Active unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state DC or U.S. territory
Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience providing similar pharmacy services
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or equivalent
Must carry own insurance.
Documentation of past employment and training history
Three (3) professional reference letters addressing reliability stability interpersonal skills and suitability for working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

Review interpret and dispense prescriptions with accuracy and clinical appropriateness
Calculate dosages compound medications and ensure therapeutic compatibility
Review patient medical records for allergies interactions and treatment appropriateness
Communicate with prescribers regarding discrepancies or clinical concerns
Counsel patients on proper medication use storage precautions and side effects
Provide expertise on medications with narrow therapeutic ranges
Monitor medication storage conditions and inspect inventory for potency expiration and cleanliness
Maintain accurate documentation in patient health records
