DescriptionResponsible for the fulfillment of the requirements of the St. Cloud Inpatient Residency Training Program developed in agreement with the Required Competency Areas Goals and Objectives of Post Graduate Year 1 Residencies issued by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Responsible for order verification and the accurate dispensing of both inpatient and outpatient medication orders. Additional responsibilities include the provision of clinical pharmacy services for patient care areas including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation for certain medications implementing and monitoring protocols and procedures for therapeutic interchange and formulary management. Patients of all ages are served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every two weeks Onsite
- Monday-Friday primarily day shifts with every 3rd weekend.
- Residency year will be 6/29/26-6/25/27
Pay and Benefits:
Qualifications:
- Pharm. D.
- Pharmacist Intern Licensed with the MN Board of Pharmacy.
- Pharmacist Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy within 90 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for those working in critical care areas and the Emergency Trauma Center.
