Our client is seeking an Agile Master (Expert).

This role is pivotal in providing cutting-edge IT solutions to global operations while ensuring the seamless integration and management of the Group Ordering Pipeline applications within the Group IT Hub South Africa.

Product / Team Context: Central management of the Ordering Pipeline from weekly-and daily based booking of production slots in production plants through scheduling and status management of orders until the final handover to the markets. POCVP is a team concerned with the support maintenance and augmentation of various master data systems essential to the smooth functioning of the global ordering pipeline.

Qualifications & Experience:

IT Degree / Diploma
15 years JAVA (spring) development experience
Extensive DevOps experience

Essential Skills & Technologies:

Java Spring Boot
Angular (Typescript and JavaScript)
Kafka & JMS (MQ)
SQL (Oracle Postgres)
Cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Advantageous Skills:

RESTful and SOAP services
Design and development of Microservices
Git GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
Maven docker Jira and Confluence
Unit testing and integration testing

Key Responsibilities:

Develop solutions independently and on time.
Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps) including rotational standby after hours on weekends and on public holidays.
Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies and refine/size user stories.
Meet with stakeholders and/or end users to understand Business requirements.
Identify risks/impediments and proactively resolve and / or escalate to the relevant parties.
Review and present proposed system solutions to various stakeholders.
Comply with Code Compliance Testing standards Software Security and compliance requirements and best practices.
Prepare system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
Pro-active knowledge sharing and/or training of others from the same or different teams.
Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager.
