Our client is looking for a Chief Expert SAP Technical Consultant to lead the eInvoice sub-product.

This platform is critical for the exchange of financial documents within the global GROUP landscape and with external partners. It manages the electronic transmission of vendor documents including incoming invoices and payment statuses across a variety of global channels.

The Mission: You will be the technical lead for the eInvoice platform ensuring the seamless exchange of financial documents globally.

Your role involves coordinating with project managers and operations teams to meet strict timelines managing complex cutover activities and providing high-level hypercare. You will proactively propose system improvements to minimize operational risk and ensure the quality of technical design.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Relevant IT degree or equivalent professional experience in SAP delivery environments.
• Experience: Minimum 4 6 years of practical SAP functional experience or similar business analysis experience within SAP projects.
• Track Record: Proven experience with go-live preparation cutover activities and post go-live support/hypercare.

Essential Skills (Verified):

• Strong ability to analyse business needs and elicit requirements directly from business stakeholders
• Experience translating business requirements into solution concepts and functional designs
• Proven experience working across SAP modules with practical system knowledge (SAP exposure preferred)
• Ability to assist with master data activities and understand master data implications on processes
• Experience supporting go-live preparations and providing hypercare support during country rollouts
• Capability to resolve 3rd-level operational issues incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Experience creating AS IS and TO BE process documentation and business blueprint artifacts
• Good testing experience including preparation of test documents and performing unit and integration testing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to present solutions and train business users
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira Xray and Confluence for requirements tracking and test management
• Experience with IDoc/RFC/API/XML interfaces and integration testing
• Experience in interface design between systems (SAP and non-SAP) Design specification testing and Implementation

Advantageous Skills:

• SAP Finance (FI) experience advantageous with understanding of FI processes and configuration
• Experience with SAP CO MM or SD considered beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or HANA platform advantageous
• Familiarity with master data templates and preparing master data for cutover activities
• Exposure to SAP authorisations or GRC concepts is a plus6
• Experience with test tools such as HP ALM and JIRA (Xray) advantageous
• Experience in manufacturing or motor industry environments is beneficial
• German language skills advantageous
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends extended hours or different time zones during rollout phases

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and elicit detailed business requirements directly from stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Analyse current AS IS processes and design TO BE processes and functional specifications
• Translate business needs into solution concepts configuration designs and clear implementation tasks
• Support master data preparation templates and migration activities for go-live readiness
• Work with technical teams to communicate functional requirements and validate development deliverables
• Conduct unit integration and system tests and contribute to test plans and test scripts
• Resolve 3rd level operational incidents perform root cause analysis and provide solutions-based approaches to issues
• Support go-live activities and provide hypercare support during country rollouts to ensure stability
• Prepare user manuals run training sessions and coach business process owners as required
• Maintain and update functional design and support documentation ensuring quality of design
• Proactively propose improvements to support new or changing business processes and minimize operationalrisk
• Coordinate with project managers QA and operations teams to ensure deliverables meet timelines and Standards
