Low Voltage Technician Structured Cabling & Systems Installation
Position Summary We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician with a solid foundation in structured cabling and low voltage system installation. This role will support new construction projects involving fire alarm intercom and audiovisual (AV) systems with a primary focus on cable pulling pathway installation rough-in work and device installation.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction environments understand structured cabling fundamentals and be comfortable working in outdoor and indoor jobsite conditions while following full PPE and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities -
Pull and route low voltage cabling (Cat5e Cat6 fiber and system-specific cable)

Install pathways including J-hooks cable tray conduit and sleeves
-
Support installation of fire alarm intercom and AV systems
-
Perform rough-in work including box placement and device mounting
-
Assist with termination and device wiring (preferred but not required)
-
Follow blueprints drawings and job specifications
-
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
-
Adhere to site safety requirements including full PPE usage
-
Work in outdoor and indoor construction environments
-
Collaborate with lead technicians supervisors and other trades on site
Required Qualifications -
1 3 years of experience in low voltage or structured cabling environments
-
Basic understanding of:
-
Ability to pull cable efficiently and safely
-
Comfortable working in construction environments and outdoor conditions
-
Able to lift carry and maneuver materials and equipment as required
-
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
-
Willingness to wear full PPE at all times on site
Preferred Qualifications Work Environment -
New construction job sites

Indoor and outdoor exposure
-
Full PPE required (hard hat safety vest gloves safety glasses etc.)
-
Physically active role including climbing ladders lifting materials and prolonged standing
